Mechanical Horse of Steel runs accross fields in 1933

In 1933, children could ride a mechanical horse, powered by a a gasoline engine, designed by an Italien engineer. The mechanical horse could canter along a road or across a rough field with equal ease.

Popular Mechanics reported the story, adding that its design recalls the attempts of inventors, before the days of the automobile, to imitate nature and produce a mechanical steed capable of drawing a wagon.
